Conservative Thought Leader in Forbes: “Huawei's (And China's) Dangerous High-Tech Game”

In a new op-ed in Forbes, Arthur Herman, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute and Director of the Quantum Alliance Initiative, detailed the practices of Huawei, and sounded the alarm on the risks they pose to America’s national security interests. The greatest and most immediate concern is Huawei’s role in the Sprint and T-Mobile merger. Sprint has historically used Huawei equipment in their networks, and despite the telecom giant being deemed a threat by Congress, Sprint refuses to say whether or not they still have Huawei in their infrastructure. In 2017, Softbank, majority owner of Sprint, signed agreements to use Huawei in part of their 5G rollout.
